Does anyone have experience in Du Pont's internally Stage Design concept for 1st pass SWRO membrane design. Their projection results show, 'short element and long element'. What does this mean?
normally short element is the membrane element, and long element is the PV ( pressure vessel ) each manufacture have their own type of nomenclature.

for internal stage design concept, the elements used for all the position shall be of the same diameter and length.
My guess is that you have selected membrane elements of different dimensions.
