1. TDS (mg/l) = k*EC(Âµs/cm); k=0.60-0.70

2. Try and use the gravimetric method and instrumental analysis;

3. Check for things like:

TS (mg/l) = TSS (mg/l) + TDS (mg/l);

4. You could also do a comprehensive test and check for ionic balance .
