Dear Alok. @ Gernot Kayser ...

Dear Alok.
@ Gernot Kayser has rightly given the details that you should follow.
Is it that you need to simulate a few wwt plants with ZLD realised for the effluent.
ZLD is Zero Liquid Discharge ex site to external location.
Even when the effluent is compliant on rules and regulation, it is required to be re-used at the site itself.
Re use water is put to use for secondary purposes viz. wash water, irrigation requiremnt for campus greens and horticulture.
Knowing the process and how waste water is evolved is important.
You need to assess whether water usage can be reduced. And using natural means, can effluent be remedied using simple natural methods viz. Dewats process.
The sludges realised too to be with neutral pH and no sediments are used for agri farm Etc.
These methods can be employed for having ZLD in your wwt plant.
Well wishes.

Dear Sir,
Thanks for showing interest. I study at Central University of Jharkhand ( India) and I have been allotted a university supervisor but it seems my area of interest is not his expertise. I am enrolled in the Water Engineering and Management course. If I epitomize my study then it is all about Water resource development, conservation, and management.
Currently, I am working as an intern at an organization that works in the field of Water and Wastewater engineering. It constructs high capacity STP and ETP with MBR and MBBR based technology. The STP is based on domestic sewage and reuse options are like gardening and irrigation. But here too I am lacking guidance in thesis development for my Masters. It would be a great help if you just help me out. You can suggest any methodology which helps me. If you have any other idea of thesis based on hydrology, Watershed and Wastewater management that I can do remotely under your guidance then please suggest me.
I would be highly grateful to you and anticipating your positive response.

@ Alok, if you can get in touch with the Centre for science and environment at Delhi, they I believe should be able to help you.
