The first error in most WWTP is centralizing the waste. Decentralizing at the source treated there costs a lot less, allows for 100% pathogen and toxin free water. Not using chlorine which never cleans all the pathogens. Microbial treatment still #1 in the industry. After 40 year of monthly testing zero pathogens found clears the way for 100% recycled potable water. Science fiction of world water shortage crisis gone. Along with food shortages and plastic becoming part of the ocean.

one last item. There is no such thing as NON soluble grease. Just a degree of difficulty in the microbiological processing world. This technology is called bioremediation.
