Thanks David, This new storage technology does not need any elevation..it can be used anywhere in the ocean or in any basin or lake. What I am thinking about is making basins near coastal lines where freshwater can be made out of salt sea water and that these basins also can be used to kite on (as it is a clean sport) but also used to store energy eg. energy derived from solar / wind sources. So preferably areas that can be developed in sahara or sub sahara countries with its border at sea or near a coastal line.
