Dear Mary, your water seems ...

Dear Mary,
your water seems to be similar to the produced water (extracted from oil Wells along with the oil). For this water the treatment process is rather standard and based on steps in sequence:
- CPI (Corrugated Plates Interceptor) to reduce the oil content down to less than 50 ppm
- NSF (NutShell Filters) to reduce the residual oil content down to less than 5 ppm
If you need zero oil content, the final AC (Activated Carbons) will ensure the requested performance.
In some cases an IAF (Induced Air Flotation) is installed between CPI and NSF.
Should you need more details, please contact me privately (I am a process consultant, not a seller of plants)

We use our sorbent that is cellulose and has a 30:1 pick up ratio(ASTM 726-13), nontoxic, never sinks, can be compressed to recycle the oil, and burns at 7000 btu's. The cleanup project will be about 1/2 the size of Virginia in the US and depths up to 60M
