Dear Anura. I can give you my expertise in wetlands. If you have enough space, you can treat the swine wastewater (i.e. once you have removed the solid fraction) with constructed wetlands. If you want to save space, you can adopt aerated constructed wetlands. On the basis of these results, we have designed a full scale system for treatment of piggery waste water from 2000 pigs in Italy. The system is in the start-up phase now, we hope to have data soon to be published.
