I think it does especially if the water has more of carbonate and bicarbonate constituents which precipitated at a certain level oxidation by chlorine.

Thank you. the sum of carbonate/bicarbonate we have to maintain @ 55 to 60 as CaCO3 with total hardness of 65 as CaCO3 and overall TDS of 110 to 270 mg/L
