I appreciate you for enquiring before granting the permission. Rain water harvesting is a responsibility of organization and individual for reducing the ground water extraction and reduce the pumping cost and other natural resources such as coal for power generation etc. Through rain water harvesting one can fulfil its marginal water requirement

 Hence the orange bottling factory is going to use a fraction of its water requirement through rain water harvesting. I would like to brief you about the usage of water in orange bottling industry. Mentioned below:

1. Process Application( which requires water parameters as per the applicable norms): rain water without further treatment may not fit for process application. Biological contamination in rain water is also one of the reason for preventing its direct use in process application.

2. Equipment cleaning Application: Rain water can effectively be used directly or with pretreatment in equipment cleaning applications.

3. Utilities such as Boiler, WTP and Cooling Tower etc.: Rain water also can be used as source of makeup for boiler, cooling tower and other water treatment plants. Rain water also can be used for fly ash scrubbing etc.

4. Bottle washing: Harvested Rain water can be used in bottle washing.

5. Toilet Flushing, gardening and Floor cleaning: Rain water can directly be used in toiler flushing, gardening and floor cleaning.

6. Drinking Purposes: Harvested rain water can be used for drinking purpose after UV treatment.

You can authorize rain water harvesting and impose conditions for following the regulatory norms for its usage.
