Installing a Softerwater catalytic conditioner as a pretreatment to either the PAC filtration and/or RO will reduce the electrical charge of the remaining minerals allowing the back flush operation the PAC filtration and RO membranes to be more effective increasing the usable life of filter media and membranes.
