Dear Sabin, Many thanks for the post and commitment to help poor communities. Below are some suggestions I use to manage resources (found and community sharing). 1- For implementing the right to water and sanitation: I would recommend the following link: http://www.worldwatercouncil.org/fileadmin/wwc/News/WWC_News/News_2012/PR-WWC-27082012-Implementing_the_Right_to_Water_Side_event.pdf 2- The social audit is quite different when dealing with water and sanitation is countries like (Sudan, Chad, Central republic of Africa and DRC Congo). These regions I use to work in the past, however you need to coordinates with UN agencies there are many code of practices especially when the issues relate to chemical or hygienically treatment. Depending on the nature of the communities, I strongly recommend to review/read this website. There are many issues you could just run it on search bar (i.e. water and Sanitation code in Iraq, DRC or etc). This will give an idea on how to use this money in proper way. For example there is a technique call water roller :), the idea been developed in developing countries, where women and children are carrying water for more than 6-10km. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hippo_water_roller http://www.solutionsforwater.org/solutions/the-hippo-water-roller I almost forgotten ;) If use are using deep water well you need to disinfect by chlorination directly into the well head, and there are code for that. 3- As for changes at grass root level: I don't get your question clear. Would please reply, I'd be happy to have your say.
