Are nanobubbles likely to have different chemistry, or just better solubility and contact because there is more surface exposed? Is it just aeration on steroids? Is it worth the cost?

Chemistry is the same depending upon gas source, however we us rare earth to enhance the negative charge this disburses faster and gives them negative boyancy both
