Good day,
Commodities can be produced with reduced costs and risks and with a higher value chain if using in priority certain types of treated wastewater from river basins lacking sanitation. I must remind you that there is still about 80% of wastewater untreated endangering our health, environment and economy but being also an opportunity to release pressure on strategic resources, to generate energy, ...etc..
You'll find more information about our solution commoditising treated wastewater to fund wastewater valorisation and recycling centres and sanitation on http://www.pranasustainablewater.ch/en/index.php
We designed our market solution  to solve mainly pollution, dignity and sustainable growth issues e.g. via the water footprints of some commodities for which purchases and sales commitments are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ....years ahead of production (so giving the opportunity to correlate trade finance with infrastructures finance).  Commodities can be sustainable if embedding treated wastewater input from the presently untreated wastewater and respecting the other elementary obligations.
The benefit for are : mitigated risks, less credit lines for more impact, new purchase powers that can be channeled via them, branding, ...etc.
Kind regards
