We are looking for a water chemistry modelling tool to assist with chemical dosing sizing etc.
Does anyone out there have experience of using Schott Engineering's Water!Pro or Tetra Tech's RTW software? What are the pros and cons of each?

We would like software that can model the water quality through the addition of chemicals during water treatment and through various processes.
As a simple example, for a borehole water of known raw quality, what is the final pH following aeration, oxidation with sodium hypochorite and chloramination.
Mostly it would be used to define the pH correction requirements to manage the final product wrt Langelier etc. We know RTW and Water!Pro carry out these calculations and are recognised in the UK.

Rob, you should try AqMB Designer. It's a complete process simulation and engineering design software for water. The software is underpinned by a powerful chemical speciation engine that has been calibrated for process conditions, which is unlike most equilibrium software. There are about 40 chemicals in the chemical doser model.
