I am working on a water supply rehabilitation and leakage reduction project and water supply network designs and NRW maintenance.

Which is the best software to learn network modeling of water pipelines? 

Which software can I use to make water pipeline models? Are there different software programmes for water distribution and leakage detection?

I agree with Igor. Start with EPANET. Some consultants offer programmes with more bells and whistles and capability to transfer data between your mains records systems. A good basic grounding with awareness of what the programme is telling you and your ability to assess whether it is believable is essential. Many people can fall into the trap of believing everything the model does - it is only a tool and an extension of your intellectual capability so see it as such. Dear Syed. EPANET is free modeling software you can use for learning and for projects. Later on you can switch to more advanced like WaterCAD, MIKE, etc. Good luck.
