It has biomass which can be removed by sedimentation with coagulating agent or DAF. Sedimentation will remove considerable amount of BOD. It can be further subjected with two stage biological process it means Anaerobic (Fixed media up-flow anaerobic bioreactor) & Aerobic (Activated Sludge process)
