Dear Eric, For solid Waste depend on the type of solids the better way is to use Incinerators specially for Industrial Solid Wastes. If you have solid waste of Water-Waste Water Treatment Plant you can also use Incinerators or some micro-organisms for digesting them in the Aquatic Environments. So it is important to give me which type of Solid Waste you mentioned? Kind regards. Homayoun Sabbaghzadeh

Dear Sir,
I would like to mention that generally, the incineration of the Municipal Solid Waste and other waste having the plastic contents is not encouraged as besides being a costlier technology, it may emit dioxin and furans, which are carcinogenic and have adverse effects on human health.
It is true that technology depends on the question that what kind of waste is to be treated as solid waste comprises many types of wastes like ... Municipal Solid Waste, part of Bio-Medical Waste, Construction & Demolition waste etc.
Kind Regards,

We are dealing with solid waste management in developing countries and countries in transition where incineration is not very much implemented. We are dealing with any type of waste.
