Phase one of China water-diversion project completed ## The first stage of an ambitious multi-billion dollar plan to divert water from rivers in the south of China to northern and eastern areas has been completed, according to state media. Once finished, it is hoped the infrastructure project will help provide billions of cubic meters of water each year to millions of people in drought-prone areas.

Jian but technically project looks good and it makes sense to divert water from water rich zone to draught area.

Oh ,NO. I don't think it nice and do something for North people of China. I heard most them dislike drinking the water from South.
