A lamella clarifier is a brand of inclined plate clarifier used in a water treatment process that features a rack of inclined metal plates, which cause flocculated material to precipitate from water that flows across the plates. Lamella clarifier also called tube settlers. Tube settlers and parallel plates increase the settling capcity of circular clarifier by reducing the vergical distance a floc particle must settler before agglomerating to form larger particles.
