Hi Markus, the interlinking project is attracting attention from every sector and trust me this is the most important project govt has undertaken till date. I do agree to the point of virtual water tranfer but what about the economical conditions for the area which are going to get benifited from this project? The drought area which will get some water from this proposed project, is suppose to increase there farming and so the economical condition. Many villages from the draught arae are migrating to rest of the country in search of drinking water and income sources since generations. Virtulal water tranfer will help with water saving but not helpful for the community who has the water scarcity since decade.
