Regarding the solar I have found that "complicated" electronics tend to become problematic in more remote areas without expertise and maintenance, so I probably wouldn't go for that. When you say process requirements, I assume that you mean operating/start-up powers of the various pumps. This is known, so the electrical supply shouldn't be a problem, the main issue is protection, which remains a bit black magic to me ;-) Thanks for your input
