GIS and Remote Sensing
Based on the scope listed. it appears that three distinct actions are needed.
1: Design of a lift system
2: GIS mapping of existing water distribution on Parner plateau
3: Remote sensing design and implementation
Additional information needed:
Item 1: amount of water available to be moved from canals to irrigation; static head between canals and irrigation points; areas to be irrigated.
Item 3: is broadband or cell service available in the region to be irrigated?
The project is not hard to conceptualize, but may be hard to implement on the distribution side depending on the need to automate the actions.
