If you are in southern part of India then depth of well is too high.
What is the height of the debris?
Do you get foul smell of (H2S) from well?
You can slowly start removing the material. Remove the layer of 3 to 4 feet and wait for the gases to get exhaust
You can also use an air blower to supply air for the persons inside the well in case debris is removed manually.
