Why not close the subject well by placing some cover to avoid any accident. Plan a new water well at a new location. Hope it shall be economical to complete on the contrary to revive the old one.

The well is much prevented from any more dumping wastes and accidents with cover.

As I mentioned earlier and as you know, the wells are source of ground water and easy access to the common people to extract by pulley method .....

The wells went obsolete when the water emptied - It is not because the well is bad, we did not refill the ground water.

I see well much more than a structure.

Also - New well of that depth requires enoronous man power and costs lakhs of money.

I want to set an example of effective use of existing wells for recharging with rain water.
