Hi Matthias, not sure about the installation constraints and your resistance towards low maintenance nano-filter systems. However, this low cost, solar-powered solution has been working flawlessly in Flint, MI, and Kenya for two  years, with 3rd party tests confirming water quality available. Production capability for over 5,000 liters per day. Glad to make an intro to the founder.
