The best alternative is to use an anaerobic system. You can use all the methane produced to generate electricity. Since I work at Mexico all the information I have is in spanish, sorry.

It depends. If you need to remove nutrients I don't things is the best solution, but you have to couple it with stripping or struvite reactors, let's becoming the system more difficult to be managed, even if very interesting in terms of circular economy concepts
