Where can I find International Water Reuse Standards and Regulations ?

Hello everybody,
Anyone know where I can find some Standards and Regulations about Water Reuse for agriculture and industries? I need water reuse standards for European, Middle east and Asian regions for my new project.
In Brazil we only have regulations for agriculture and secondary water reuse. Industrial regulation is taking so long to get approved from governmental agencies....

There are no international water reuse standards that I know of...each country and region generally have their own regulations prepared by political entrepreneurs.....we have technologies that are based on North American high standards. WD
I think you have had good recomendation. In Brazil there some agencies that are trying to fix some parameters and you could also look at CIRRA (Centro Internacional de Reuso de Ãgua) that is located at USP and there are also some parameters at FIESP and SINDUSCON - SP.

Hello professional water/wastewater treatment fellows! Thank you all for your kind answers to my question! Actually, I found that ISO (Internationa Standardzation Organization) is currently working on a international standart for urban reuse of water (ISO/TS/P 232 – Treated wastewater re-use in urban areas - a proposal for a new field of technical activity on Treated wastewater re-use in urban areas submitted by SAC - China). I think that very soon we shall have a release. Big hug fellows!

Li seems to me that there does not exist any international regulation concerning water. It is specific to each country. To the international level one limits oneself to say that one should not do this or that. Your question questions on water, but it should be known that there are several types of water. domestic waste waters, industrial waste waters, waste waters of chemical industry, waste waters of the stations of household wastes, waste waters of agriculture. Which interests you more. lyseconcept can give you information about domestic waste waters.

in Europe has each country own legislation (regulations) and/or standards. I can describe only situation in the Czech republic. There is regulated only withdrawals and discharging. "Reuse" as a special term is not included into Czech Water act (http://eagri.cz/public/web/en/mze/water/legislation/). Internal reuse in industries is internal problem of these companies and that is not standardised. Reuse water in agriculture for irrigation must be in harmony with Water act. Enabled is use in of some types of waste waters.
On European union level I would like focus your attention to article 12 of Directive 91/271 in wording of Directive 98/15/EU from 27. February 1998.
