FilterClear is a very simple yet effective improvement to conventional sand filtration. Instead of using just sand, or sand and anthracite, FilterClear uses 4 layers of media, of decreasing particle size, which re-stratify after every backwash. These 4 layers give much finer filtration, are more resilient against blockage and can operate at much higher filtration rates than conventional sand filters. FilterClear is used as pre-treatment for desalination or instead of sand filters on conventional water treatment. We have plants in India and I will be in Mumbai and Bengaluru for the next 8 days .
